The Blur Network is a private and independent blockchain based on the premise that neither privacy nor security can truly exist without decentralization.

The Blur Network takes a “decentralized-by design” approach to private payments, utilizing Ring Confidential Transactions for blockchain ambiguity, the Cryptonote Protocol to secure the blockchain, and the new Cryptonight-Adaptive Algorithm to ensure a fair distribution of block rewards, by way of CPU-specific mining.

BLUR can be transacted with the security and privacy of Monero, without the threats that result from centralized mining. Traditional mining rigs, GPUs, Nicehash, and pooled mining place the welfare of the Monero network in the hands of few. Instead, The Blur Network is supported by individual miners mining on full nodes.
