XYO

XYO NETWORK is a vastly distributed network of interconnected devices based on smart contact that enables layered, location verification of data across the devices.

PROS:

• Faster transactions: The platform enables two entities to easily transact in a real world  without the existence of third party intermediaries  as it able to make location verification trustless for developers
• Easy retrieval of items: The platform through XYs Bluetooth and GPS devices enables the users to  place physical tracking devices beacons on the items that they intend to track such as keys, luggage, bikes and even pets and easy retrieve them in case of any misplacement
• The platform has employs a well interconnected system end to end functionality where the system enables the user to get the best answers from the queries generated from the initial stage
• The platform components  along with the Proof of Origin Chain get paid for their involvement in fetching the answer to the query
• Security: The platform  enables the secure storage heuristic data without easy access by fraud and unauthorized intermediaries
• The XYO whitepaper clearly outlines the components  and protocol involved, how the network works and the crypto economic incentives underlying the network
• Good team experience  led by the CEO Arie Trouw who has managed different projects as the Chief Executive officer , Chief Financial Officer  and Operating Officer making him fit to lead the implementation of the project

CONS:

• The token users are not provided with adequate  incentives by the platform
• The project team is missing in the whitepaper
• The  platform sentinel is likely to undergo Distributed Denial of Service Attack in some areas

SUGGESTIONS:

• The platform team should be included in the whitepaper
• The platform should involve the token users in most of its activities
• The token used should undergo a pre-ICO sale to raise more funds for the project

NOTE:

The platform enables the user to easy store their data and easily retrieve their valuable items in case of misplacement making it viable hence promoting me to invest in the project.

Whilst the scope of the project is ambitious and, frankly, risky given its dependency on the success of achieving a network effect (in the literal sense of the term), what gives the project credibility is the fact that it is driven by a  team with a successful of history of building a successful business model that operates at the outer boundaries of innovative technology.

The tokenomics of the project – incentivising each actor on the network – in combination with the business model’s sheer malleability for finding use cases that could be potentially of benefit to a wide range of as-yet unidentified applications, are what gives the project its best hope of achieving mass adoption.

Whether the undertaking achieves eventual success or not, however, is not something that will likely be determined in the shorter term. The sheer ambition of it all implies a long term commitment.
