As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?

As a CEO in Carbon Offset Initiative d.o.o. at the moment I am in charge of micro and macro strategy and present/future pathway of the firm. It's very important to be in constant conversation with all team members and to be kind of "glue" between their opinions and ideas. Also as a co-founder of a firm and COI project I am in charge of external cooperation with all necessary companies and people that we need in order to make this idea shine and see the bright light in the future.

What do you think about idea?

COI d.o.o. is sustainable and innovative project that involves many senior and junior experts from different fields, countries and even continents. In COI we are trying to make a change in already very poluted industry and on global level. We are trying to recover the nature that we had, using innovative solutions, and we believe that's possible. Idea is realistic and real implementation is not going to take ages, we are real solution for world wide risk & waste management issues.

As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?

Marketing and Business development are my functional areas, saving our environment is my calling, and I am really happy to be blending these at Carbon Offset Initiative. My role is identify pain points in the industries relevant to us, and reach out to customers (and other stakeholders) to bring or create together with them environmentally friendly solutions. Working to secure the future of our planet is the most rewarding experience for me as a human being, and the most impactful and transformation-driven role for me as an ambitious and committed professional.

What do you think about idea?

Carbon Offset Initiative’s goal is to make a difference to our environment- both smart and impactful. Right now (end of Sep ’19), there is the Global Climate Strike week going around the world. It only shows that our world in general, our governments and businesses have to move faster and implement change NOW, which is exactly what we offer. Today “it is no longer about the cost of action, but about the cost of inaction, which is far greater,” (Børge Brende, President, World Economic Forum). We are starting with the shipping industry, electronic waste recycling, reforestation, but there is a lot more to come from our pipeline of projects – and our goal is to achieve solid and timely impact in multiple business sectors.
