Shatterpoint is a Free-to-Play (F2P), Free-to-Own (F2O) skill-based action RPG mobile game. Players battle in the Player vs Environment (PvE) campaign & skirmish modes to gain Experience, which unlocks their Hero traits, and gather the Equipment which provides combat stats and access to various Hero ability combinations. In Player vs Player (PvP) Arenas, players compete over various rewards such as in-game resources, NFTs, and leaderboard rank.
Set in the Shatterpoint universe, players try to escape The Shattering with guidance from Karluq. While competing over time-limited challenges, players become increasingly more skilled, progress through various game chapters in different worlds, acquire in-game resources, unlock Hero traits, and attempt to convert their non-NFT Hero into an NFT. Your Hero becomes more powerful by acquiring Equipment, upgrading Runes, and collecting Quantus and Shards - resources required for various in-game actions. The Shattering phenomenon happens weekly, each Monday at 12 pm UTC, it resets all Heroes to Level 1, dismantles all equipment into Shards and resets the Ranked PvP leaderboard.
Play & Own
Your progress and rank in Shatterpoint depend on your skill and experience, it's focused on Free-to-Play, and Play & Own models, which enable a player-owned game economy. All players have the possibility to upgrade to an NFT Hero and acquire NFT Runes or NFT cosmetics via gameplay. You can still buy, sell and trade these assets with other players, but Shatterpoint does not employ unsustainable, short-lived models such as Play-to-Earn and Pay-to-Win.
Available on mobile
The Shatterpoint Closed Alpha begins on Feb 6th, 2023, and is available for pre-registered testers & Founder Hero owners on App Store and Google Play. The Shatterpoint marketplace will be accessible via mobile and desktop browsers.
