WHITE PAPER
Abstract. An IoT food supply chain platform on a secured VPN blockchain
infrastructure that allows consumers to not only conduct all of their grocery shopping online,
but most importantly provides the solution to the global food waste epidemic. The food
supply chain from the farmer to dinner table is grossly inefficient. By utilizing IoT sensors to
optimize every phase of the supply chain, the global community would have access to
affordable and healthy food without having to step foot in a grocery store; simultaneously
drastically reducing the methane gasses created from spoiled food in landfills. The problem
is not integrating the latest technology with the food supply chain, but protecting it from
cyberattacks. We propose a solution to this security vulnerability by creating multi-layered
Virtual Private Networks, and using Artificial Intelligence to manage the key creation and
protecting the network using time series database. By using time series database, Artificial
Intelligence would create a set of new keys for every triggered event to all nodes on the
network, ensuring ultimate security. This design pattern not only can be utilized in the food
supply chain, but in every home, office, and school around the world.

Blockchain, Ethereum, and Tokens
Blockchain is a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) invented to support the
Bitcoin cryptocurrency. It is a distributed database designed to maintain a
continuously growing list of records called blocks. Each block contains a
timestamp and a link to a previous block. A blockchain is managed by a peer-to-
peer network collectively adhering to a protocol for validating new blocks and
additions to the database. Once recorded, the data in any given block cannot be
altered retroactively.
Functionally, a blockchain can serve as an open, distributed ledger that can
record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and
permanent way. Blockchains are secure by design and are an example of a
distributed computing system with a high Byzantine fault tolerance. This makes
blockchains potentially suitable for recording events, records, identities,
transactions, and other documentation. The database is not contained on one
central node. Rather, it is contained in its entirety on every node on the network,
which means it is more secure.
Introduction
Sadly, it is not an exaggeration to say that food waste is one of
the biggest problems facing mankind today. Between 33-50% of all food produced
globally is never eaten, and the value of this wasted food is worth over $1 trillion. To
put that in perspective, in the USA food waste represents 1.3% of the total GDP.
Food waste is a massive market inefficiency, the kind of which does not persist in
other industries.
Food waste takes a land mass larger than China to grow the food each year that
is ultimately never eaten – land that has been deforested, species that have been
driven to extinction, indigenous populations that have been moved, soil that has
been degraded – all to produce food that we then just throw away. In addition, food
that is never eaten accounts for 25% of all fresh water consumption globally. Not
only are all of the resources that went into creating the uneaten food wasted (land,
water, labour, energy, manufacturing, packaging, etc), but when food waste goes to a
landfill, which is where the vast majority of it ends up, it decomposes without access
to oxygen and creates methane, which is 23x more deadly than carbon dioxide. If
food waste were a country, it would be the third largest emitter of greenhouse gases
after China and the USA. Itʼs easy for many people to dismiss food waste as
someone elseʼs problem (“I donʼt waste any food”) or to focus solely on the more
visibly shocking examples of waste. However the reality is that in the ‘developedʼ
world, more than 50% of food waste takes place in our homes.

iCarriage is executing a token issuance under the name CarriageCoin
“CCoin” (C$). The CarriageCoin will be served to for iCarriage Consumer App,
Merchant App, and IOT Blockchain Platform. Our proposed use of funds detailing
coin issuance, plan, terms, and participation is in this white paper.
Blockchain will be incorporated in the iCarriage IoT Platform with the goal of
addressing security, transparency, and counterfeit issues pertaining to Internet of
Things Devices, consumer markets, and Networks. Full enterprise networks have
been compromised by hackers penetrating a wifi-enabled sensor in a fish tank to
measure pH levels using “Man-In-The-Middle” (MITM) Attacks. A network that
will host entire cityʼs food supply chain hosts billions of data points will be
extremely valuable and must be protected with the latest security innovations
using blockchain technology.
Problem
The average US Household spends over $400 and 12 hours grocery
shopping, searching recipes, coupons, and calculating serving cost every month.
Often times, many households are unable to afford nor have access to grocery
stores that sell affordable organic food. As a result, families depend on fast food
and Genetically Modified Organisms (Banned in over 26 countries).
Meet CarriageCoin
Bitcoin, the largest (by market-cap) cryptocurrency, has fostered interest in
and the development of other blockchain-based technologies, including
Ethereum. Ethereum is an open-source, public blockchain-based DLT featuring
scripting functionality. This means, among other things, that the Ethereum
blockchain can be used for purposes beyond cryptocurrency and it can facilitate
online contractual agreements called smart contracts. In the past year, a popular
use for the Ethereum blockchain has emerged: token issuance and Initial Coin
Offerings (“ICO”). Typical ICO events last several days and offer the opportunity
to purchase newly-issued tokens in exchange for cryptocurrencies like Ethereum
and Bitcoin. An ICO can be considered an alternate form of crowdfunding
generally purchased with future use (of the technology product) in mind.

Store Integration Real-Time Scalability
(Nationwide)
Most store chains (Kroger, Walmart, Amazon Fresh, Safeway, etc.) have
implemented online shopping, pickup, and delivery nationwide. We are able to
partner with grocery stores and scale with them in real-time. This flexibility
within our technology stack give us the ability to scale globally once the retail
chain provides online shopping.
Online grocery shopping could grow five-fold over the next decade, with
American consumers spending upwards of $100 billion on food-at-home items
by 2025.
Supermarket giants Wal-Mart Stores and Kroger already draw sales from
their online efforts and compete with Amazon and other e-commerce
challengers, but the report from Food Marketing Institute and Nielsen points out
that the online channel is likely to capture significantly more market share in the
decade ahead from the bricks-and-mortar stores.
6
Around a quarter of American households currently buy some groceries
online, up from 19 percent in 2014, and more than 70 percent will engage with
online food shopping within 10 years, according to "The Digitally Engaged Food
Shopper" report. It also found that of those who will buy digitally, 60 percent
expect to spend about a quarter of their food dollars online in 10 years.
A key takeaway of the FMI-Nielsen report is that online grocery spending
could grow during the 2016-2025 forecast period from 4.3 percent of the total
U.S.food and beverage sales to as much as a 20 percent share, or reaching more
than $100 billion, based on the most upbeat scenario. Last year, online
grocery sales were about $20.5 billion.
The most optimistic outlook has online grocery sales growing at a compound
annual rate of nearly 20 percent during the 2016-2025 forecast period. Even
under the most "conservative" scenario, the compound annual growth rate during
the forecast period is seen rising at a 9 percent pace and the share of online
grocery spend doubling from its current level.
Last year's online sales were the equivalent of 764 grocery stores, based
on store volume; by 2025, the digital share could become comparable to
nearly 3,900 stores.
Current Food Supply Chain
Blue Apron & Meal Kits
The iCarriage Grocery App allows shoppers to search recipes by diet,
allergies, serving cost, calorie count and then pick up the ingredients from the
store of their choice. The grocery store allows you to select a pick up time, store
clerk shops for you, then they bring your groceries to your vehicle.
Functionality
The iCarriage IoT Food Supply Chain Platform is an Artificially Intelligence
managed food supply chain system in which the global community have access
to, and can afford to buy, safe, nutritious, and culturally- acceptable food that
has been produced in an environmentally sustainable way utilizing blockchain
technology.
iCarriage Certified Engineer
iCarriage has a network of over 2k+ Engineers across 42 States and provide
installation for the largest IOT companies in the space. To install the sensors
throughout the supply chain, the engineers must have the pre-requisite training
to perform quality installation. Failure to install properly can result in equipment
damage or loss.
Due to the frequency and level of financial damage it has caused, engineers
who are skilled to build the safest network and educated with the latest
blockchain skills will be able to command anywhere from $60-$100/hr
depending on market.
iCarriage Blockchain IoT Food Supply Chain Platform
7
Because of the level of security, iCarriage will conduct a thorough
background check of all engineers prior to their training. Training will be
conducted through iCarriage Technician Platform that includes instruction videos
and tests. iCarriage Engineers are trained in blockchain mobile electronic
installation.
Smart Farms
The aim of the agriculture sector is to optimize processes, use of resources,
and efficient use of existing arable land. The Internet of Things can enable all of
that. It can increase production, but it can also increase the level of quality
agriculture. Sensors are installed in various locations in the fields and machinery
in order to have data about the soil and crops. Then this data is used to prevent
diseases such as the Peronospera.
Access to real time information about harvesting, planting and yields could
also help corporations predict the property value of farms better than anyone
else and have unparalleled insight into the commodities market.
8
Smart Shipping Yards
Despite a 20 percent capacity reduction and closure of over 500 shipyards,
ordering levels for new ships are well below world capacity. As a result,
shipyards and equipment manufacturers face a challenges. In 2016, the
shipyards experienced the lowest new-building orders since the 1980s.
Prompted by increased cost pressures faced by shipping companies that were hit
hard by low freight charter rates, and tightening environmental restrictions.
iCarriage IoT Platform provides a solution by optimizing operations and transport
productivity. It will play a crucial part in the survival strategy for shipping.
Smart Food Processing Factories
Connected factories and plants can use iCarriage IoT Platform to monitor and
optimize production processes in real time, make adjustments to improve quality,
enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
9
10
Smart Warehouses
Todayʼs warehouse is far more than just a facility in which to store inventory.
Leveraging iCarriage supply chain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT), a
“smart warehouse” can now serve as a hub to boost efficiency and speed
throughout the entire supply chain. From wearables on workers to sensors and
smart equipment, internet-enabled devices and technology can profoundly
change logistics management.
Smart Cars, Trucks, & 18-Wheelers (Telematics)
Telematics is connecting commercial fleet vehicles to the internet and
tracking their location, reducing gas consumption, and ultimately saving fleet
owners over 30% in expenses monthly. iCarriage IoT Platform not only provides
essential information for the owner, but provides a self-maintenance function
that alerts our technicians of a non-reporting installed sensor, then schedules
service appointment with the fleet owner and driver.
11
Smart Grocery Stores
Amazon Go's brick-and-mortar convenience store utilizes a smartphone app
when the shopper enters the location and can detect when they pick up or return
items to the store's shelves. It keeps track of purchases using a virtual cart, and
when the shopping experience is complete the customer leaves without waiting
in checkout lines and gets sent a receipt.
iCarriage extensive network of engineers makes converting Big Retails to
“Smart Stores” makes this possible. Our Platform will allow real-time inventory
with minimum human interaction.
Food Sharing (Grocery App)
Connecting people with their neighbors and with local shops so surplus
food, and other items can be shared, not thrown away. More than a third of all of
the food that's produced on our planet never reaches a table. It's either spoiled
in transit or thrown out by consumers in wealthier countries, who typically buy
too much and toss the excess. This works out to roughly 1.3 billion tons of food,
worth nearly $1 trillion at retail prices.
12
Cannabis Legal Market
The international market for cannabis is projected to hit $31.4 billion by
2021, according to a new report from the Brightfield Group, a cannabis market
research firm. Currently, the global market is estimated to be worth $7.7 billion
and will see a compound annual growth rate of 60 percent as other countries
liberalize their marijuana laws.
The U.S. currently drives 90 percent of global cannabis sales, but its share
will drop to 57 percent by 2021. That's in large part thanks to Canada's plans to
legalize recreational marijuana by July 2018. Meanwhile, countries in Latin
American and Europe are increasingly adopting medical cannabis programs. And
German political parties are considering recreational legalization as part of their
talks in forming a coalition government.
Dangerous Banking Habits of Cannabis Dispensaries
Although weed may be legal in the state of Nevada, Maine, Colorado,
Washington, Massachusetts, Alaska, Oregon, and California (January 1st, 2018)
under federal law, itʼs still a Schedule I drug and illegal to possess, manufacture,
or sell in any quantity. Federal law also prohibits national banks and credit unions
from working with marijuana businesses. That means financial institutions can
neither extend loans to dispensaries nor deposit marijuana earned money. An
excessive amount of cash in-store and no bank to safely deposit it in has made
handling finances as a dispensary a convoluted clusterfuck of dangerous
inefficiency.
As a result, dispensaries have to hire ex-military and law enformenct
security agencies to transport cash in armored vehicles. These vehicles arrives
at a highly secured fecility with a large safe, stacking straps of twenties atop a
mountain of bills. The cash inside the safe belongs entirely to marijuana
dispensaries. These heavily protected cash fortresses are how some
dispensaries protect their revenue when banks want nothing to do with them.
13
CarriageCoin are the Dispensaries Solution
With CCoin, cannabis customers will be able to purchase our coins
throughoutt the iCarriage app then send the CCoins to the dispensaries CCoin
wallet via their iCarriage Merchant App.
15
Customs Import & Export Process
Processing documents and information for a container shipment is estimated
to cost more than twice the expenses from the actual physical transportation.
iCarriage is addressing this problem with a distributed permission platform
accessible by the supply chain ecosystem, designed to exchange event data and
handle document workflows. iCarriage uses blockchain technology to create a
global hack-proff system, to digitize trade workflow and to track shipments from
end-to-end eliminating frictions including costly point-to-point communications.
The collaboration will launch with the potential ability to track millions of
container journeys each year and integrate with customs representatives on
selected trade routes.
Over 40% of companies in retail and manufacturing spheres are planning to
spend $5 million on blockchain technology. According to hipping companies, a
single container can result in a stack of nearly 200 communications. Using this
example, it was examined how blockchain has been implemented to create trust
and security in the electronic document workflow and improve the efficiency of
global supply chains.
The growers, export authorities, ports, customs and importers require
signatures from three different agencies approving the export, and six
documents that describe the origin, chemical treatments quality of the product
and customs duties.

Cannabis, Blockhain & Internet of Things
Blockchain is rapidly becoming a world leading technology enabling the assured
exchange of value in both digital and tangible assets, while protecting privacy and
eliminating fraud. Its relevance to regulating cannabis is similar to its many chain of
custody applications in areas such as pharmaceutical distribution and food chains.
The core to those supply chains is the same, assuring health and safety of
consumers, preventing fraud and counterfeiting while creating a foundation of
transparency upon which to base regulation.
State Governments: Blockchain can help States take control of sourcing, selling and
pricing of products, therefore can reduce or eliminate black market sales completely.
Producers: Blockchain can assist producers with real-time inventory
management, greater projections of supply and demand, and also elicit
trends of consumption through data analytics.
By utilizing Internet of Things sensors such as Solar power, wi-fi connected garden
sensors that stream data on temperature, light, humidity, and soil acidity to the cloud.
This product enables growers to breed plants remotely and with predictable
outcomes to tailor plants to benefit specific ailments. The central idea of this trend is
data mining — the process of turning raw data into useful information. Data mining
capabilities are being integrated into the core architecture of devices with an on/off
switch.
Retailers: An interconnected Blockchain network can assist retailers identify supply/
demand gaps ways to mitigate those gaps, providing feedback mechanisms to
producers, and use data to create predictive insights.
CarriageCoin “Smart” Debit Card
CarriageCoinʼs will be stored within the built-in Cryptocurrency wallet and our
custom “Smart” Debit Card. The smart card will allow customers to spend
CarriageCoins with any retailer that accepts traditional Point of Sale transactions
using debit cards. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, this will strategically allow
iCarriage to disrupt the Point of Sale market and introduce digital currency to the
masses on a global scale. Therefore creating a bridge between cryptocurrency and
traditional retail point of sale platforms. This gives iCarriage a competitive advantage
by bringing new customers to retailers and branding ourselves as a Blockchain &
Internet of Things conglomerate. Our “Smart” card creates a new channel to on-
boarding retailers not only to CarriageCoin but also our Blockchain/IoT solution to
their daily retailer problems. Ultimately helping them to save overhead costs by
being more efficient.
Blockchain will be incorporated in the iCarriage IoT Platform with the goal of
addressing security issues pertaining to Internet of Things Devices and
Networks. Full enterprise networks have been compromised by hackers
penetrating a wifi-enabled sensor in a fish tank to measure pH levels using
“Man-In-The-Middle” (MITM) Attacks. A network that will host entire cities food
supply chain and hosting billions of data points, will be extremely valuable, and
must be protected with the latest security innovations using blockchain
technology. The Equifax hacking of 150 Million Emails (Multiple times) exposed
the companies lack of innovation in their internet security that most major
Fortune 500 companies have not implemented nor understand it.
Security
Man-In-The-Middle-Attack
A man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack is a clever way to circumvent encryption.
The attacker sits between the communicating parties, with each party believing
they are communicating with the other party, but both are communicating with
the attacker.
When an encrypted connection between the two parties is established, a
secret key is generated and transmitted using an asymmetric cipher. Usually this
key is used to encrypt further communication between the two. Since the key is
securely transmitted and the subsequent traffic is secured by the key, all of this
traffic is unreadable by any would-be attacker sniffing these packets.
However, in an MitM attack, party A believes that she is communicating with
B, and party B believe they are communicating with A, but in realty, both are
communicating with the attacker. So, when A negotiates an encrypted
connection with B, A is actually opening an encrypted connection with the
attacker, which means the attacker securely communicates with an asymmetric
cipher and learns the secret key. Then the attacker just needs to open another
encrypted connection with B, and B will believe that he is communicating with A,
as shown in the following illustration.

In recent News, Equifax lost over 140 Million Americans personal information
in July 2017. Equifax and other companies such as Target, Home Depot to name
a few have fallen victim to the new age of hacking methods. These large
corporations have not updated their systems since the late 90ʼs will continually
fall victim until they are replaced with iCarriage Blockchain Platform. Corporate
environment is highly vulnerable to cyber attacks. As per Vormetricʼs 2015
Insider Threat Report, 93% of U.S. Organizations were Polled Vulnerable to Cyber
Threats. Preventing a data breach is the highest or second highest priority for IT
security spending for 54% of organizations.
According to Boston Consulting Group, there will be over 2 billion devices
connected to the internet. With these many devices, it only takes one measuring
the pH in fish tank to take down a major corporations network.
Equifax Hack
18
Itʼs distributed node structure reduces probability of hacking. Blockchain is
transparent and cannot be altered by an administrator or anyone else in or
outside of the blockchain. There is also a public history of all transactions. Any
attempt to alter the data will be immediately flagged and will require consensus
amongst all participants/ nodes, making it very difficult for a hacker to achieve
its aim.

IoT Sensor Design Security Flaws
Blockchain aims at improving security by removing a single vulnerable target
that can compromise whole systemʼs integrity. A transparent and distributed DNS
(Domain Name Server) rules out the possibility of manipulation of information.

Why an Initial Coin Offering?
There are many arguments why we have chosen to do an Initial Coin Offering
instead of alternative ways to raise money:
First, a token sale not only allows us to onboard participants from different
regions, but also offers incentives for them to promote iCarriageʼs products.
Second, the token smart contract enables easy distribution of tokens to
participants, instant payments with tokens, security and transparency, which would
be hard to achieve without usage of blockchain technology.
Coin Functionality
We introduce CarriageCoin “CCoin” (C$), an ERC20 compliant Ethereum based
token, with a fixed supply of 500,000,000 C$. During the token launch, a fixed
amount of C$ is created, and afterwards no more tokens shall be minted.
CarriageCoin is used as a form of paypment within the iCarriage app and platform
with associated decrentalized network, online portal and applications, as described in
this document.
Because CarriageCoin is built on the ERC20 token standard, it allows for simple
integration into usersʼ wallets and is freely tradable via direct transfers or via smart
contracts. The total supply of C$ will slowly decrease over time, as tokens are taken
out of circulation.
Why Now?
Hardware has been around for the Internet of Things (IoT) sensors for over
10 years utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) signals. However, the price
has decreased significantly in the last few years because of the smartphone and
wifi innovation. Now, the financial barrier for small businesses have been
removed. Cloud Servers allow these devices to be accessed from anywhere in
the world without having to own the physical servers. By using cloud
technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure, IoT networks are
able to be implemented with little cost. Grocery stores here in the US as of 2014
just started (Walmart and Kroger) selling food items on their website. In the UK
and S. Korea, online grocery shopping has been a normal channel for receiving
groceries at the store or delivered to their home. According to Nielson, Online
grocery shopping will account for over $100B in revenue by 2025.
22
CarriageCoin (C$) will be incorporated in iCarriage products. It helps to enhance
product usage, allow contribution to the ecosystem and provide access. While the
coin will enable access to valuable features within the iCarriage platform, it wonʼt be
limited by the iCarriage mobile applications.
CarriageCoin can be utilized for the following purposes, creating revenue
streams for iCarriage and offering additional benefits to the token holders:
1. Subscription fee for all iCarriage Products
2. Commission on paid services (in fiat or C$)
3. Currency (medium of exchange) for buying hardware and software tools
4. Unlock access to Mobile App, Block Chain, Mobile Electronic Engineer Training
To incentivize participation in the ecosystem and expand our reach, we will offer
a seed quantity of CarriageCoins to current Bitcoin & Ethereum Wallet owners,
Mommy Bloggers, and Chefs. Once seed tokens are exhausted we expect a steady
demand for CarriageCoin from the users. Compared to fiat based payments for
iCarriage fees and commissions, we will offer discounts should the fees be paid in
C$.
We created CarriageCoin with a clear vision that the coin must be used as a
medium of exchange, must be viable, secure, work better than other coins and do
something unique as well. These are key elements to the solid foundation. More of
that, we believe that C$ will bring improvements to society.
The iCarriage token contract address will be published at https://xisglobal.co/
carriagecoin.

  • 1. IOT, AI & Blockchain Technology How to reduce and ultimately solve global food insecurity, reduce food prices, and produce healthy nutritious food using Internet of Things Sensors, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain Technology Author: Steven Fance December 24, 2017 V2.1 INITIAL COIN OFFER WHITE PAPER Abstract. An IoT food supply chain platform on a secured VPN blockchain infrastructure that allows consumers to not only conduct all of their grocery shopping online, but most importantly provides the solution to the global food waste epidemic. The food supply chain from the farmer to dinner table is grossly inefficient. By utilizing IoT sensors to optimize every phase of the supply chain, the global community would have access to affordable and healthy food without having to step foot in a grocery store; simultaneously drastically reducing the methane gasses created from spoiled food in landfills. The problem is not integrating the latest technology with the food supply chain, but protecting it from cyberattacks. We propose a solution to this security vulnerability by creating multi-layered Virtual Private Networks, and using Artificial Intelligence to manage the key creation and protecting the network using time series database. By using time series database, Artificial Intelligence would create a set of new keys for every triggered event to all nodes on the network, ensuring ultimate security. This design pattern not only can be utilized in the food supply chain, but in every home, office, and school around the world. 1

  • 3. 2 Blockchain, Ethereum, and Tokens Blockchain is a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) invented to support the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. It is a distributed database designed to maintain a continuously growing list of records called blocks. Each block contains a timestamp and a link to a previous block. A blockchain is managed by a peer-to- peer network collectively adhering to a protocol for validating new blocks and additions to the database. Once recorded, the data in any given block cannot be altered retroactively. Functionally, a blockchain can serve as an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way. Blockchains are secure by design and are an example of a distributed computing system with a high Byzantine fault tolerance. This makes blockchains potentially suitable for recording events, records, identities, transactions, and other documentation. The database is not contained on one central node. Rather, it is contained in its entirety on every node on the network, which means it is more secure. Introduction Sadly, it is not an exaggeration to say that food waste is one of the biggest problems facing mankind today. Between 33-50% of all food produced globally is never eaten, and the value of this wasted food is worth over $1 trillion. To put that in perspective, in the USA food waste represents 1.3% of the total GDP. Food waste is a massive market inefficiency, the kind of which does not persist in other industries. Food waste takes a land mass larger than China to grow the food each year that is ultimately never eaten – land that has been deforested, species that have been driven to extinction, indigenous populations that have been moved, soil that has been degraded – all to produce food that we then just throw away. In addition, food that is never eaten accounts for 25% of all fresh water consumption globally. Not only are all of the resources that went into creating the uneaten food wasted (land, water, labour, energy, manufacturing, packaging, etc), but when food waste goes to a landfill, which is where the vast majority of it ends up, it decomposes without access to oxygen and creates methane, which is 23x more deadly than carbon dioxide. If food waste were a country, it would be the third largest emitter of greenhouse gases after China and the USA. Itʼs easy for many people to dismiss food waste as someone elseʼs problem (“I donʼt waste any food”) or to focus solely on the more visibly shocking examples of waste. However the reality is that in the ‘developedʼ world, more than 50% of food waste takes place in our homes.
  • 4. 3 iCarriage is executing a token issuance under the name CarriageCoin “CCoin” (C$). The CarriageCoin will be served to for iCarriage Consumer App, Merchant App, and IOT Blockchain Platform. Our proposed use of funds detailing coin issuance, plan, terms, and participation is in this white paper. Blockchain will be incorporated in the iCarriage IoT Platform with the goal of addressing security, transparency, and counterfeit issues pertaining to Internet of Things Devices, consumer markets, and Networks. Full enterprise networks have been compromised by hackers penetrating a wifi-enabled sensor in a fish tank to measure pH levels using “Man-In-The-Middle” (MITM) Attacks. A network that will host entire cityʼs food supply chain hosts billions of data points will be extremely valuable and must be protected with the latest security innovations using blockchain technology. Problem The average US Household spends over $400 and 12 hours grocery shopping, searching recipes, coupons, and calculating serving cost every month. Often times, many households are unable to afford nor have access to grocery stores that sell affordable organic food. As a result, families depend on fast food and Genetically Modified Organisms (Banned in over 26 countries). Meet CarriageCoin Bitcoin, the largest (by market-cap) cryptocurrency, has fostered interest in and the development of other blockchain-based technologies, including Ethereum. Ethereum is an open-source, public blockchain-based DLT featuring scripting functionality. This means, among other things, that the Ethereum blockchain can be used for purposes beyond cryptocurrency and it can facilitate online contractual agreements called smart contracts. In the past year, a popular use for the Ethereum blockchain has emerged: token issuance and Initial Coin Offerings (“ICO”). Typical ICO events last several days and offer the opportunity to purchase newly-issued tokens in exchange for cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Bitcoin. An ICO can be considered an alternate form of crowdfunding generally purchased with future use (of the technology product) in mind.

  • 6. 5 iCarriage Grocery App (Beta) The iCarriage Grocery App allows shoppers to search recipes by diet, allergies, serving cost, calorie count and then pick up the ingredients from the store of their choice. The grocery store allows you to select a pick up time, store clerk shops for you, then they bring your groceries to your vehicle. Plan & Budget Meals Search 1 Million+ Recipes By Diet Type Compare Store Prices Store Shops For You, You Pickup Order Store Integration Real-Time Scalability (Nationwide) Most store chains (Kroger, Walmart, Amazon Fresh, Safeway, etc.) have implemented online shopping, pickup, and delivery nationwide. We are able to partner with grocery stores and scale with them in real-time. This flexibility within our technology stack give us the ability to scale globally once the retail chain provides online shopping. Online grocery shopping could grow five-fold over the next decade, with American consumers spending upwards of $100 billion on food-at-home items by 2025. Supermarket giants Wal-Mart Stores and Kroger already draw sales from their online efforts and compete with Amazon and other e-commerce challengers, but the report from Food Marketing Institute and Nielsen points out that the online channel is likely to capture significantly more market share in the decade ahead from the bricks-and-mortar stores.
  • 7. 6 Around a quarter of American households currently buy some groceries online, up from 19 percent in 2014, and more than 70 percent will engage with online food shopping within 10 years, according to "The Digitally Engaged Food Shopper" report. It also found that of those who will buy digitally, 60 percent expect to spend about a quarter of their food dollars online in 10 years. A key takeaway of the FMI-Nielsen report is that online grocery spending could grow during the 2016-2025 forecast period from 4.3 percent of the total U.S.food and beverage sales to as much as a 20 percent share, or reaching more than $100 billion, based on the most upbeat scenario. Last year, online grocery sales were about $20.5 billion. The most optimistic outlook has online grocery sales growing at a compound annual rate of nearly 20 percent during the 2016-2025 forecast period. Even under the most "conservative" scenario, the compound annual growth rate during the forecast period is seen rising at a 9 percent pace and the share of online grocery spend doubling from its current level. Last year's online sales were the equivalent of 764 grocery stores, based on store volume; by 2025, the digital share could become comparable to nearly 3,900 stores. Current Food Supply Chain Blue Apron & Meal Kits The iCarriage Grocery App allows shoppers to search recipes by diet, allergies, serving cost, calorie count and then pick up the ingredients from the store of their choice. The grocery store allows you to select a pick up time, store clerk shops for you, then they bring your groceries to your vehicle.
  • 8. Due to the frequency and level of financial damage it has caused, engineers who are skilled to build the safest network and educated with the latest blockchain skills will be able to command anywhere from $60-$100/hr depending on market. iCarriage Blockchain IoT Food Supply Chain Platform 7
  • 9. Because of the level of security, iCarriage will conduct a thorough background check of all engineers prior to their training. Training will be conducted through iCarriage Technician Platform that includes instruction videos and tests. iCarriage Engineers are trained in blockchain mobile electronic installation. Smart Farms The aim of the agriculture sector is to optimize processes, use of resources, and efficient use of existing arable land. The Internet of Things can enable all of that. It can increase production, but it can also increase the level of quality agriculture. Sensors are installed in various locations in the fields and machinery in order to have data about the soil and crops. Then this data is used to prevent diseases such as the Peronospera. Access to real time information about harvesting, planting and yields could also help corporations predict the property value of farms better than anyone else and have unparalleled insight into the commodities market. 8
  • 10. Smart Shipping Yards Despite a 20 percent capacity reduction and closure of over 500 shipyards, ordering levels for new ships are well below world capacity. As a result, shipyards and equipment manufacturers face a challenges. In 2016, the shipyards experienced the lowest new-building orders since the 1980s. Prompted by increased cost pressures faced by shipping companies that were hit hard by low freight charter rates, and tightening environmental restrictions. iCarriage IoT Platform provides a solution by optimizing operations and transport productivity. It will play a crucial part in the survival strategy for shipping. Smart Food Processing Factories Connected factories and plants can use iCarriage IoT Platform to monitor and optimize production processes in real time, make adjustments to improve quality, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste. 9
  • 11. 10 Smart Warehouses Todayʼs warehouse is far more than just a facility in which to store inventory. Leveraging iCarriage supply chain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT), a “smart warehouse” can now serve as a hub to boost efficiency and speed throughout the entire supply chain. From wearables on workers to sensors and smart equipment, internet-enabled devices and technology can profoundly change logistics management. Smart Cars, Trucks, & 18-Wheelers (Telematics) Telematics is connecting commercial fleet vehicles to the internet and tracking their location, reducing gas consumption, and ultimately saving fleet owners over 30% in expenses monthly. iCarriage IoT Platform not only provides essential information for the owner, but provides a self-maintenance function that alerts our technicians of a non-reporting installed sensor, then schedules service appointment with the fleet owner and driver.
  • 12. 11 Smart Grocery Stores Amazon Go's brick-and-mortar convenience store utilizes a smartphone app when the shopper enters the location and can detect when they pick up or return items to the store's shelves. It keeps track of purchases using a virtual cart, and when the shopping experience is complete the customer leaves without waiting in checkout lines and gets sent a receipt. iCarriage extensive network of engineers makes converting Big Retails to “Smart Stores” makes this possible. Our Platform will allow real-time inventory with minimum human interaction. Food Sharing (Grocery App) Connecting people with their neighbors and with local shops so surplus food, and other items can be shared, not thrown away. More than a third of all of the food that's produced on our planet never reaches a table. It's either spoiled in transit or thrown out by consumers in wealthier countries, who typically buy too much and toss the excess. This works out to roughly 1.3 billion tons of food, worth nearly $1 trillion at retail prices.
  • 13. 12 Cannabis Legal Market The international market for cannabis is projected to hit $31.4 billion by 2021, according to a new report from the Brightfield Group, a cannabis market research firm. Currently, the global market is estimated to be worth $7.7 billion and will see a compound annual growth rate of 60 percent as other countries liberalize their marijuana laws. The U.S. currently drives 90 percent of global cannabis sales, but its share will drop to 57 percent by 2021. That's in large part thanks to Canada's plans to legalize recreational marijuana by July 2018. Meanwhile, countries in Latin American and Europe are increasingly adopting medical cannabis programs. And German political parties are considering recreational legalization as part of their talks in forming a coalition government. Dangerous Banking Habits of Cannabis Dispensaries Although weed may be legal in the state of Nevada, Maine, Colorado, Washington, Massachusetts, Alaska, Oregon, and California (January 1st, 2018) under federal law, itʼs still a Schedule I drug and illegal to possess, manufacture, or sell in any quantity. Federal law also prohibits national banks and credit unions from working with marijuana businesses. That means financial institutions can neither extend loans to dispensaries nor deposit marijuana earned money. An excessive amount of cash in-store and no bank to safely deposit it in has made handling finances as a dispensary a convoluted clusterfuck of dangerous inefficiency. As a result, dispensaries have to hire ex-military and law enformenct security agencies to transport cash in armored vehicles. These vehicles arrives at a highly secured fecility with a large safe, stacking straps of twenties atop a mountain of bills. The cash inside the safe belongs entirely to marijuana dispensaries. These heavily protected cash fortresses are how some dispensaries protect their revenue when banks want nothing to do with them.
  • 14. 13 CarriageCoin are the Dispensaries Solution With CCoin, cannabis customers will be able to purchase our coins throughoutt the iCarriage app then send the CCoins to the dispensaries CCoin wallet via their iCarriage Merchant App.
  • 15. 15 Customs Import & Export Process Processing documents and information for a container shipment is estimated to cost more than twice the expenses from the actual physical transportation. iCarriage is addressing this problem with a distributed permission platform accessible by the supply chain ecosystem, designed to exchange event data and handle document workflows. iCarriage uses blockchain technology to create a global hack-proff system, to digitize trade workflow and to track shipments from end-to-end eliminating frictions including costly point-to-point communications. The collaboration will launch with the potential ability to track millions of container journeys each year and integrate with customs representatives on selected trade routes. Over 40% of companies in retail and manufacturing spheres are planning to spend $5 million on blockchain technology. According to hipping companies, a single container can result in a stack of nearly 200 communications. Using this example, it was examined how blockchain has been implemented to create trust and security in the electronic document workflow and improve the efficiency of global supply chains. The growers, export authorities, ports, customs and importers require signatures from three different agencies approving the export, and six documents that describe the origin, chemical treatments quality of the product and customs duties.

  • 17. 14 Cannabis, Blockhain & Internet of Things Blockchain is rapidly becoming a world leading technology enabling the assured exchange of value in both digital and tangible assets, while protecting privacy and eliminating fraud. Its relevance to regulating cannabis is similar to its many chain of custody applications in areas such as pharmaceutical distribution and food chains. The core to those supply chains is the same, assuring health and safety of consumers, preventing fraud and counterfeiting while creating a foundation of transparency upon which to base regulation. State Governments: Blockchain can help States take control of sourcing, selling and pricing of products, therefore can reduce or eliminate black market sales completely. Producers: Blockchain can assist producers with real-time inventory management, greater projections of supply and demand, and also elicit trends of consumption through data analytics. By utilizing Internet of Things sensors such as Solar power, wi-fi connected garden sensors that stream data on temperature, light, humidity, and soil acidity to the cloud. This product enables growers to breed plants remotely and with predictable outcomes to tailor plants to benefit specific ailments. The central idea of this trend is data mining — the process of turning raw data into useful information. Data mining capabilities are being integrated into the core architecture of devices with an on/off switch. Retailers: An interconnected Blockchain network can assist retailers identify supply/ demand gaps ways to mitigate those gaps, providing feedback mechanisms to producers, and use data to create predictive insights. • 18. Blockchain will be incorporated in the iCarriage IoT Platform with the goal of addressing security issues pertaining to Internet of Things Devices and Networks. Full enterprise networks have been compromised by hackers penetrating a wifi-enabled sensor in a fish tank to measure pH levels using “Man-In-The-Middle” (MITM) Attacks. A network that will host entire cities food supply chain and hosting billions of data points, will be extremely valuable, and must be protected with the latest security innovations using blockchain technology. The Equifax hacking of 150 Million Emails (Multiple times) exposed the companies lack of innovation in their internet security that most major Fortune 500 companies have not implemented nor understand it. Security Man-In-The-Middle-Attack A man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack is a clever way to circumvent encryption. The attacker sits between the communicating parties, with each party believing they are communicating with the other party, but both are communicating with the attacker. When an encrypted connection between the two parties is established, a secret key is generated and transmitted using an asymmetric cipher. Usually this key is used to encrypt further communication between the two. Since the key is securely transmitted and the subsequent traffic is secured by the key, all of this traffic is unreadable by any would-be attacker sniffing these packets. However, in an MitM attack, party A believes that she is communicating with B, and party B believe they are communicating with A, but in realty, both are communicating with the attacker. So, when A negotiates an encrypted connection with B, A is actually opening an encrypted connection with the attacker, which means the attacker securely communicates with an asymmetric cipher and learns the secret key. Then the attacker just needs to open another encrypted connection with B, and B will believe that he is communicating with A, as shown in the following illustration. 17 Attacker System A System B System A and B both believe they are communicating with each other. • 22. 21 Why an Initial Coin Offering? There are many arguments why we have chosen to do an Initial Coin Offering instead of alternative ways to raise money: First, a token sale not only allows us to onboard participants from different regions, but also offers incentives for them to promote iCarriageʼs products. Second, the token smart contract enables easy distribution of tokens to participants, instant payments with tokens, security and transparency, which would be hard to achieve without usage of blockchain technology. Coin Functionality We introduce CarriageCoin “CCoin” (C$), an ERC20 compliant Ethereum based token, with a fixed supply of 500,000,000 C$. During the token launch, a fixed amount of C$ is created, and afterwards no more tokens shall be minted. CarriageCoin is used as a form of paypment within the iCarriage app and platform with associated decrentalized network, online portal and applications, as described in this document. Because CarriageCoin is built on the ERC20 token standard, it allows for simple integration into usersʼ wallets and is freely tradable via direct transfers or via smart contracts. The total supply of C$ will slowly decrease over time, as tokens are taken out of circulation. Why Now? Hardware has been around for the Internet of Things (IoT) sensors for over 10 years utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) signals. However, the price has decreased significantly in the last few years because of the smartphone and wifi innovation. Now, the financial barrier for small businesses have been removed. Cloud Servers allow these devices to be accessed from anywhere in the world without having to own the physical servers. By using cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure, IoT networks are able to be implemented with little cost. Grocery stores here in the US as of 2014 just started (Walmart and Kroger) selling food items on their website. In the UK and S. Korea, online grocery shopping has been a normal channel for receiving groceries at the store or delivered to their home. According to Nielson, Online grocery shopping will account for over $100B in revenue by 2025.
  • 23. 22 CarriageCoin (C$) will be incorporated in iCarriage products. It helps to enhance product usage, allow contribution to the ecosystem and provide access. While the coin will enable access to valuable features within the iCarriage platform, it wonʼt be limited by the iCarriage mobile applications. CarriageCoin can be utilized for the following purposes, creating revenue streams for iCarriage and offering additional benefits to the token holders: 1. Subscription fee for all iCarriage Products 2. Commission on paid services (in fiat or C$) 3. Currency (medium of exchange) for buying hardware and software tools 4. Unlock access to Mobile App, Block Chain, Mobile Electronic Engineer Training To incentivize participation in the ecosystem and expand our reach, we will offer a seed quantity of CarriageCoins to current Bitcoin & Ethereum Wallet owners, Mommy Bloggers, and Chefs. Once seed tokens are exhausted we expect a steady demand for CarriageCoin from the users. Compared to fiat based payments for iCarriage fees and commissions, we will offer discounts should the fees be paid in C$. We created CarriageCoin with a clear vision that the coin must be used as a medium of exchange, must be viable, secure, work better than other coins and do something unique as well. These are key elements to the solid foundation. More of that, we believe that C$ will bring improvements to society. The iCarriage token contract address will be published at https://xisglobal.co/ carriagecoin.
