Blocxs

Blocxs is a Dutch, Amsterdam based organization, who is focusing on solutions for safeguarding and providing emergency access to all kinds of assets. We offer blockchain solutions for protection, Life Sign Monitoring® and access providing of your cryptocurrency and other valuables assets that require instructions, procedures and credentials to access them, especially by your loved ones in case something might happen to you.

Our company structure

We founded our Dutch company (Ltd) and our Dutch foundation to make a solid base for the growth of our company. Our organization consists of two domains; blocxs.com and blocxs.org. Our solutions will be brought to the society through blocxs.com whereas the foundation is primarily used for promoting, helping and creating a community where knowledge will be shared through an open source mindset. We strive for the first set up of Blocxs offices in Korea, China, Japan, USA and Switzerland to offer local support for legislation structures.

Our company mission

is to focus on creating bridging solutions for consumers and businesses between blockchain technology and our traditional world. Our bridging solutions will be blockchain type independent and hold a seamless conversion from one blockchain type contract to another blockchain type contract. Our smart contracts can run simultaneously on multiple blockchains to safeguard the execution of your wishes.

Our foundation mission

Is to create trust in cryptocurrency and its communities and to help and promote people to use this technology to take back ownership of their possessions. We also want to enable people to create their legacy wishes.

We also believe in a more transparent world with less corruption that will bring out the best of mankind so we focus on our new world and not as much look at the old world as we know it. We believe that work is so much more that a paid way to spend your valuable time. We envision a more familiarly way of working for and with each other where everybody can use the best of their abilities to help accomplish our missions.

When blockchain really started to set its footprint in society we decided to bring our ideas into a concept contributing to the evolution of technical improvements for our society and bringing you a working prototype of our first product.

The first problem we solve

“Will your cryptocurrencies be lost in case of an emergency?”

When you personally possess assets like Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and you also have a private key or password protected vault in your home or even a secret storage location for precious metals somewhere, is your family provided with complete information to get access to them in an emergency case such as your sudden pass away?

The danger of modern technology based assets like cryptocurrencies consist of rather complex access methods (or even none) for relatives in an emergency situation. Even if you are practicing failsafe procedures like using offline hardware wallets there is a possible risk that you might not have thought about: forever losing access to them.

Safeguarding your cryptocurrency is a delicate process. To keep it safe, you are the only person that has the information to access them. They can be scattered throughout the internet in online wallets or on different devices in offline wallets. They can be even stored in paper wallets. All kinds of combinations are possible.

How do we solve it

To solve this problem we bring you the solution where we use a mechanism called Life Sign Monitoring®. This product allows every private person or company in the world to store the encrypted valuables (cryptocurrency addresses, logins, private keys, hiding places valuables, email passwords, agreements, messages and documents) in the blockchain linked to a Blocxs specifically created smart contract.

You can use our online services without giving us your passwords or private keys. Blocxs is your solution in providing one central access frontend.

All your sensitive data is encrypted on the client side and securely stored in a specifically designed blockchain contract. No one can access it except you. Even we cannot read your encrypted data on our own servers. This way also even a potential hack on our servers will be useless as all sensitive data cannot be converted to meaningful data without the private key that is only known by the holder (you).

Only specifically specified beneficiaries will get access to this data after specific smart contract condition logic is met (e.g. interrupted ‘Life Sign Monitoring®’). Our solution will embed advanced logic like ‘multiple beneficiaries protocols’ and “multiple communication protocols”. Based upon the type of chosen contract we have specific fallback scenarios integrate into the smart contract.

Life Sign Monitoring® is based upon the Ethereum platform.

Grow path

We envision the expansion of the legal possibilities of the Life Sign Monitoring® with the IID integration (Internet ID) like uPort to make the step to legally bound smart contracts and to bridge the gap between official notary offices, governments  companies and consumers. For our customers to be able to use these new advanced legal contracts, we will create local agreements with all necessary parties to execute these services.

The expansion of the Life Sign monitoring contains the following services:

• Executing of wills
• Setup and execute trust funds
• Delivering of deeds (conveyances, commissions, licenses, patents, diplomas)
• Executing private and business contracts
• Executing gifts and donations

In a second stage we will support the following services:

• Transfer of properties
• Marital agreements
• Mortgages
