The Market

In most markets, algorithmic trading is dominant over swing or (intra)day trading. This is due to a few reasons. First, current brokers aren’t offering a way to develop, backtest and trade in one environment. Secondly, tech/development companies offer analytical tools and packages however, they do not offer the connection/link to the market to apply these tools. Finally, everyday traders are currently unable to invest using algorithmic trading tools.

For Investors

Mercor allows investors to orientate, compare, select and invest in a previously inaccessible market, the algorithmic trading market. Traders can easily access and analyze different trading algorithms after which they can invest in them through a single transaction.

For Developers

Mercor provides developers access to the Mercor environment on which the creation and hosting of algorithms are made possible.

The focus of the platform will be on simple as well as complex algorithms, eventually also highly promoting the use of AI-based algorithms. The development of these algorithms will be supported by data, educational tools, and tutorials (Mercor Academy), as well as pre-made functions.

Our platform allows developers to create, host and deploy their algorithms. Developers will be able to earn a commission based on the success of their algorithm and their personally set commission fee.

Mercor Token Utility

Mercor aims to be a platform that connects trading algorithms with the crypto market and makes them available to the public. Both the investors and the developers need MRCR tokens to make use of the Mercor platform. Mercor uses a tiered staking model for both developers and investors.

Investor

The MRCR tokens need to be staked and depending on the amount staked and the corresponding tier, certain benefits will be available. Some of these benefits are:
