The Swole Ape FItness Club and associated NFTs are founded with the core objective of creating a gym powered by Web3. A gym in which each Swole Ape NFT serves as a lifetime membership, as well as the token which you literally scan upon entry to grant yourself access to the gym. A gym in which 'membership fees' are collected from royalties of the sale and resale of each Swole Ape, rather than paid by each individual monthly. A gym that is unique, exclusive, and elite.

Just as importantly, the Swole Ape Gyms and its ecosystem serve to bring together an active community of like-minded individuals. After all, what's the point of attending a unique and elite gym, if you hate everyone else that attends it? Gyms may not be social spaces first and foremost, but if you want to work out around random people, you could just go to your local chain gym.

We aim to establish a community of Swole Apes sticking together, similar to apes in the wild. All Apes will have a say in its activities, both the Web3 side and the physical Gym side.

A smart contract will govern 100% of the funds involved, while all Swole Ape NFT holders will be granted participation rights in the ecosystem. Remaining proceeds after the initial phase of our roadmap, involving the building of our first physical Club location, will be used for development of consecutive future clubs/gyms, as well as investments into other projects, and potential side income streams that the team already has in mind. Swole Ape community members will also receive priority and benefits over other users in these later developments.
