MAIN introduces an open source cryptographic token named MAIN. It is envisioned as a
general purpose internal cryptocurrency to use on the MAIN platform. The MAIN Token will
be an accounting unit for all economic transactions within the MAIN platform.
The number of MAIN Tokens available is fixed at 1,000,000,000 tokens. It is fractionally
divisible and not re-issued. Like other cryptocurrencies, units of the MAIN Token are
fungible and transferable.
The MAIN Token will be implemented on the public Ethereum blockchain as an ERC20
token. The Ethereum blockchain is currently the industry standard for issuing custom digital
assets and smart contracts. The ERC20 token interface allows the deployment of a standard
token that is compatible with the existing infrastructure of the Ethereum ecosystem, such as
development tools, wallets, and exchanges
