In recent years, humanity has taken important steps in the conquest of its fundamental rights as a species, regardless of race, sex, religion or origin. Everyday, people and organizations struggle to conquer new rights, liberties, and for making this world a fairer place. It’s important to highlight not only the achievements in terms of human and social rights, but also the emergence on a global scale of a new economic paradigm, which is: the collaborative economy and the democratization of access to capital and the means of financing; two clear examples of a new economic era, which seeks, among other things, equal opportunities and the generation of wealth. In the area of health, which is the main subject of this document, important efforts have been made, however, there are still great gaps in terms of quality and access to health services. It has become common in recent years the creation, at the state level, of subsidized health plans, which, by their nature, are slow, normally of low quality, increase public spending and are, sometimes, used by their creators for populist practices. Currently, health plans with coverage and/or similar benefits, may present price variations by sex, age, genetic or congenital conditions and some socioeconomic variables of the applicant. It will not be the purpose of this document to expose, justify and discuss the causes and reasons for this phenomenon, but rather, to propose a mechanism that reduces its impact and allows the birth of more inclusive, complete and efficient health systems. With this objective in mind, the creation of an API for the emission of rewards (Vita AER) is proposed to the users of the health systems. For this, the Ethereum Network, Smart Contracts and Blockchain technology will be used. The rewards will be made in Vita, an ERC20 token, whose characteristics will be described in this document, as well as the issuance policy, and the mechanisms that will allow it to be easily convertible to fiat currency or interchangeable for goods and services. Some data and facts that support the problem in question and the roadmap that will be followed to achieve the objectives set will also be presented.
