About Stamps ICO

Conventional business fundraising relies on a faulty and antiquated
paradigm that serves existing businesses and startups poorly. Traditional
sources to raise capital have included seed funding, venture capitalists,
business loans, and ownership offerings, both public and private. The pitfalls
of these processes are many. The risk of counterparty nonperformance is
significant, particularly in early-stage investing, and almost all sources of
funding require significant costs in the form of regulatory compliance.
Together, there are compelling barriers that preclude interested parties from
obtaining or offering to fund otherwise worthwhile projects. It is this
challenging landscape that the Stamp’s platform aims to reform.
The Stamp’s platform will provide a safe, inexpensive, and transparent path
for real-world entities to issue equity in the form of tradeable tokens that
represents an ownership share of their company. The Stamps platform will
also deploy robust capabilities to help management meet obligations to
equity token holders, such as the distribution of dividend ownership
incentives to equity token holders.

Features

Equity Token Holder Benefits

  • Own Equity - By holding the Equity Tokens token holders receive from our Stamp Releases, they will legally own an equity share of the issuing business.
  • Bitcoin Dividend Payments - The issuing business may choose to share their profits with their Equity Token Holders in the form of Bitcoin Dividend Payments. The payment amount received will be proportional to the number of Equity Tokens held in your wallet.

Benefits For Business

  • Funding - Once a market has formed the business will be able to liquidate parts of their retained equity tokens on the open market to fund their business operations as needed. However, the issuing business will agree to receive only a portion of their retained Equity Tokens in an agreed timetable to protect the interest of the Equity Token Holders.
  • Instant Community - The issuing business can access an aspiring community of Stamps enthusiasts who are interested in being vested in real-world opportunities.
  • Flexible - Stamps will work with the issuing business to model their Equity Tokens to their needs.
  • Little To No Risk - Businesses may be wary of giving away their equity in the form of tradable tokens because of the slight chance of market failure. However, there is little to no risk to the issuing business. Equity Tokens can be programmed to present different equity stakes of the issuing business depending on predetermined market values.
