Lending platforms are nothing new in the cryptocurrency space. The fundamental principle – lending money to the platform to receive interest over time – has only one flaw: the revenue which is distributed to the lenders often exceeds the revenue flowing in by the platform services after a short period of time, if those services generated revenue at all. PRISMA works to solve this problem by amassing a substantial service portfolio with beneficial tools for the cryptocurrency community while also providing a resilient lending model leading to steady profits for individuals who invest in the platform. FIG. 1: The official logo with PRISMA lettering and the Prismacoin (PRIS) symbol. In this whitepaper the PRISMA platform (including a dedicated token which follows the ERC20 standard, the Prismacoin (PRIS)) and the lending model in particular are discussed. Following this, services which are set to launch directly after the initial coin offering (ICO) and services which will be implemented in the future are presented. This overview closes with the roadmap and details about the ICO and investment prospects. II. PRISMA PLATFORM The PRISMA platform will consist of several cryptocurrency services, an internal exchange and a lending system, all accessible via one website. The platform is fueled by its token, the Prismacoin (PRIS). Prismacoin can be bought either in the public token sale or afterwards on the internal exchange – in the near future also on external exchanges. At the beginning most services on the PRISMA platform can be payed in PRIS, BTC and ETH while paying with PRIS will lead to a fee discount. Lending can only be done by buying PRIS and locking it in the lending platform, leading to an synergistic value increase of the token as demand rises for both service usage and investment opportunity. At different points in the future PRISMA might buy back some of the Prismacoin and burn them to increase the value of its ecosstem token. Such token burns will be announced in advance.
