Oh, an AI-driven Web3 platform for creators, secures $4.5M in funding, revolutionizing digital content - IcoHolder.

Oh, a Web3 creator platform leveraging artificial intelligence, has secured $4.5 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round, the company announced. This successful round, which included investments from notable crypto and AI-focused firms like Tangent, Big Brain Holdings, and Kosmos Ventures, marks a significant milestone for the startup.

The platform’s flagship product, OhChat, enables creators to build AI-driven “digital twins,” with the user base rapidly approaching 100,000 across 174 countries. The company’s goal is to disrupt the creator economy by combining AI's personalized content creation with the decentralized, censorship-resistant features of Web3.

In a statement, Oh’s co-founder and CEO, Nic Young, highlighted the platform’s potential to revolutionize how creators, consumers, and investors engage. “By combining AI’s ability to generate and personalize content with the power of decentralized, agent-driven communities, traditional systems simply can’t compete,” he said, emphasizing the paradigm shift in the creator ecosystem.

The fresh funding will be used to deploy “superModels,” autonomous AI agents capable of generating income for digital creators. These agents are designed to grow their social media presence, interact with followers, and develop evolving personalities based on social interactions. Some early AI agents on the platform have already generated revenues of up to $10,000 per month.

A key element driving the platform’s success is its celebrity collaborations. Well-known figures such as Carmen Electra, Rio Sage, and Kaili Thorne are working with Oh to bring AI-powered agents to their fanbases, boosting the agents’ profitability and exposure.

Looking ahead, Oh plans to launch a utility token in early 2025, built on the Solana blockchain. This token will offer staking incentives and enable fractional ownership of AI agents, allowing multiple users to profit from the success of a single agent.

The industry is watching closely, as AI agents continue to gain traction and investors anticipate strong growth in the space in the coming year. With the funding and strategic partnerships in place, Oh aims to be at the forefront of the AI-driven Web3 revolution.
