Our solution: Creating a community owned ERC20 Token exchange. Ethermes is a community owned exchange which has adapted a voting system to allow the people within it to contribute towards important decisions regarding the exchange. In addition, a share of the profits are also distributed amongst the community. In this new era of cryptocurrency, relying on one entity to form decisions may prohibit the exchange from reaching its maximum potential and prevent valuable contribution from others. The user's journey in starting a swap is very important to us and that is why the foundation of our exchange is build upon efficiency and speed. We only require a minimal amount of information and an average of 30 seconds to start a swap. Users will be able to enjoy a straightforward process from entering the URL into their browser, selecting a Token and the amount they wish to swap. Every week, Ethermes will be adding a number of Tokens to the platform. The power of the voting system will enable the community to influence which Tokens are listed and delisted to and from the exchange. For example, some Tokens may be unfavourable after a period of time if the community believe they are not being used for their original purpose or they have a low trade volume, etc. Ethermes has an algorithm that detects if there has been a possible price-manipulation from an exchange. If detected, the algorithm has a number of checks and protocols in place to rectify the issue.
