A rebase is a mechanism which adjusts supply depending on where the current price peg is. Rebases can be negative or positive. In the event of a negative rebase the supply of the token contracts while the price increases, in a positive rebase the inverse is true.
Rebases are tied to a constantly increasing price peg starting at $0.000001 and increasing by 42.0% every 24 hours until the peg reaches $1,000,000. Negative rebases will occur if the price is below the peg, and positive if the price is above the peg.
Looking at the price of the token to determine the value of your holdings is not how most rebasing tokens work. The best way to see what your bag is worth is by writing down or remembering the market cap of when you bought and what it is currently.
