How does the Checqit lending platform
work?
CHECQIT is the first decentralized peer-to-peer lending platform
that will allow you to grow your collateral in exchange of a fast
guaranteed loan from it. We are running on Ethereum blockchain
network and using multiple smart contracts to transfer CQT tokens
from an individual or an organization which is the lender, to the
loan applicant which is the borrower.
A borrower will have a fast access to his loan which will be issued only in CQT tokens. This loan will be backed by his own cryptocurrency deposit on the CHECQIT Wallet that is linked to the platform as a collateral in case of a non-payment of this same loan to its owner. The difference we have with other competitive platforms in the peer-to-peer lending field is our ultimate game changing goal allow our clients to benefit from fast access to their loans by depositing it directly on their CHECQIT Card, linked to the CHECQIT Wallet that will support Ethereum and ERC20 tokens.
Economic Challenge
Underbanked refers to people who don’t have access to banks and
other official forms of financial services such as credit cards or
loans. As there is a lack of mainstream financial services,
underbanked people often have no choice but to turn to alternative
forms of financing.
It is estimated that there are two billion people in the world that are underbanked. This is in addition to around 200 million small and micro businesses that also do not have sufficient access to mainstream financial services. Most of the world’s underbanked population are from developing countries and 55% of them are women. In total, about 38% of the world’s population is either underbanked or unbanked.
Our Solution
According to NASDAQ, the global peer-to-peer (P2P) lending market
is estimated to reach $897.85 billion by 2024. Lack of trust in
financial institutions after the 2008 crisis has led millions of
individuals and businesses to look out for more decentralized
alternatives for money loans.
Blockchain-based peer-to-peer platforms are bridging the gap between lenders interested in investing their crypto-assets, and borrowers in need for funds either for personal or business projects.
By eliminating intermediaries between the parties, CHECQIT is allowing for faster decisions and higher ratios of approvals, as well as free settlement of interest rates and loan terms.
How we implement it
What is the key for a CHECQIT’s platforms to work in a secure and
convenient way for both lenders and borrowers? Collateralization of
crypto-assets in a blockchain-reliant storage of data and smart
contracts.
As opposed to traditional forms of collateral, such as real estate and automobiles, blockchain assets are divisible, mutually interchangeable and instantly transferrable.
CHECQIT is an Ethereum-based P2P lending platform. Our mission is to connect investors or lenders with borrowers via the CHECQIT platform, making crypto assets accessible for anyone, anywhere in the world.
