Solanart started 8 months ago by a group of friends excited to launch their first collection, which inarguably became the trigger that kicked off Solana NFTs to a point that no other blockchain had experienced since Ethereum. With such a young ecosystem at the time, the only way to trade was via OTC (over-the-counter), which led the team to build a solution for this with the creation of Solanart, only hosting their collection, SolPunks. With time, now-blue chip projects such as SMB launched, followed by Degen Apes, the highest-volume collection on Solanart and the first one to reach 1M SOL in sales. As time went on more collections were onboarded, cementing Solanart as the market leader within the Solana community.
Having launched the first marketplace on Solana, innovation has always been at the core of our DNA. As we expand our team we continue to build, but now… faster. Recently the team grew to 25 people spread around the globe, bringing different perspectives to the table, and pushing the bar higher, in turn allowing for faster growth. As we transition out of our initial Beta version into what is now Solanart V2, we are excited to be able to share what we’ve been building behind the scenes these past months. On our new site you will be able to find a brand new UX/UI which is much smoother, updated collection analytics for better decision making, quicker transactions, the ability to export sales as CSV, visualization of your wallet holdings through a QR code, email notifications and multi-send NFTs. This is only the start, as we will gradually release more features for our users.
One we are most excited about sharing with our community will be Global Offer, tackling the liquidity issue investors face today in the NFT space. Traditional NFT bids lock up your funds on only one NFT, and as a bidder you hope the price will resonate with the seller if they even get to see your offer. Through Global Offer, you will be able to bid on an entire collection with only one bid. All holders will be notified, increasing your chances of purchase without locking exorbitant amounts on multiple bids.
