The company shared this in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>QLDB is a ledger database that provides a transparent, cryptographically verifiable, and immutable log of transactions. A central trusted authority oversees the transaction log. Any changes to the database are recorded on the blockchain. The new product can also automatically scale and execute two to three times more transactions than existing products.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS), said, \u201cThe product will be really scalable. You will have a much more flexible and robust set of APIs [application program interfaces] to make any kind of changes or adjustments to the ledger databases.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amazon\u2019s product website adds: \u201cWith QLDB, your data&#8217;s change history is immutable \u2013 it cannot be altered or deleted. Using cryptography, you can easily verify that there have been no unintended modifications to your application&#8217;s data.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"AWS_Blockchain_Features\"><\/span>AWS Blockchain Features<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">As for AWS&#8217; Managed Blockchain product, Amazon announced it can work alongside QLDB. It lets users adjust and manage a scalable blockchain network. The product also automatically scales based on the needs of specific applications. It can manage certificates, track metrics such as storage, memory, and computer usage, and invite new users to the network.<\/p>\n<p>It will be recalled that early this month, Amazon won two patents related to<a href=\"https:\/\/icoholder.com\/blog\/decentralized-web3-and-blockchain-future\/\"> methods for improving<\/a> the storage of distributed data and the protection of digital signatures&#8217; integrity. The first patent proposes \u201ca grid encoding technique for distributed data storage by using groups of collected shards, where each shard represents a logical distribution of data items stored in a given grid.\u201d The second filing outlines a method for \u201csignature delegation\u201d that would protect \u201cthe integrity of digital signatures and encrypted communications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In this month also AWS and Kaleido, a ConsenSys&#8217; blockchain startup, launched the \u201cKaleido Marketplace,\u201d a full-stack platform that aids enterprises in implementing blockchain solutions.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"In_conclusion\"><\/span>In conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Amazon has unveiled two new services that are blockchain-related, namely Amazon Quantum Ledger Database and Amazon Managed Blockchain.
