Sprecher has also backed future Bitcoin contracts that NYSE&#8217;s parent company Intercontinental Exchange is planning to launch through its Bakkt platform.<\/p>\n<p>He also pointed out the dominance of Bitcoin in cryptocurrency markets and believes Bitcoin turned into a trademark of the cryptocurrency market.<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_Survives_and_Thrives\"><\/span>Bitcoin Survives and Thrives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>He said, &#8220;<em>Somehow Bitcoin has lived in a swamp and survived.&#8221; <\/em>Sprecher added,<em>\u00a0&#8220;There are thousands of other tokens that you could argue are better but yet Bitcoin continues to survive, thrive and attract attention.<\/em> Often times in finance, it\u2019s not about being the best \u2014 it turns out to be about being the broadest, and the most commonly accepted and for whatever reason Bitcoin has become that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin ETF is the second biggest catalyst that helped in creating a rally. Traders believe that crypto markets are continually moving in the right direction to comply with the SEC&#8217;s requirements. The financial authority <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2018\/11\/27\/sec-wants-key-upgrades-in-crypto-markets-before-approving-bitcoin-etf.html\">wants<\/a> stabilization in crypto markets along with better security and custodian services.<\/p>\n<p>Traders are of the opinion that the top cryptocurrency exchanges are collaborating with the NYSE to integrate their surveillance technology to enhance the security of crypto exchanges. Custodian services from prominent financial institutions like Goldman Sachs and Fidelity would improve custodian services for crypto clients.<\/p>\n<p>The cryptocurrency markets are in the green after experiencing volatile moves during the past two weeks. Ripple, Ethereum, and the rest of the top 10 coins are trading significantly higher from their lowest level that they had hit last week.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The NYSE Chairman is certainly right that cryptocurrency markets are unlikely to fall to zero.
