They may have technical issues. As of now, we know that bittrex is queued with project listing. Probably their concern is that they cannot handle the technical portion.

Ripple’s Xpring and startup Forte form $100 million fund for game developers who make games based on blockchain technology. Will it somehow affect the blockchain industry?

Yes. It will somehow affect the Blockchain industry. But not this year. This year is a year of stability.

When carrying out any fundraising, the community of coin holders is of great importance. It is more important than ever to earn the trust of crypto holders. And if you have a trust, then there is a little difficulty in losing it. In this case, Bittrex did as well as possible for itself. They cancelled IEO for fear to lose the exchange reputation on the market. You can often find various disagreements inside companies, that want to raise funds, especially when it comes to multi-million dollar contracts.

I think the fundraising campaign for this project makes no sense, due to the loss of trust. Therefore, this lesson will serve as an example of how not to do for other exchanges. Especially, to what should analysts pay attention when preparing for such events. And companies that want to raise funds will learn the lesson that it is necessary to sign the relevant agreements ahead of time.

The games themselves are closely related to all technological breakthroughs and the blockchain will not be an exception. Gamification and the games themselves gather around the industry certain types of people, consequently, soon we will see new users in this field. All of this will positively influence the market as a whole.
It should be noted that a bull wave is coming and large BTC holders should start to pick up a second Lamborghini.

Bittrex suddenly cancelled the excited IEO RAID just a few hours before scheduled launch. What do you think about it?

I have been a long time user of Bittrex and I believe that they are one of the most legit exchanges around. They have made it their goal to solve most issues that exchanges have given their clients. From my understanding of IEOs, strict procedures have to be followed before any possible listing. If it is cancelled from Bittrex side, I’m pretty sure it is because they want to find better timing. If they decide to cancel it totally, I would then do more DD on both the project and the exchange as the hype was real and quite big to even consider cancelling.

I personally do not believe in anything that ripple does due to the nature of the way they conduct their business. I don’t even consider them as a true cryptocurrency though it is true that I am critical about many projects anyway. Has one wondered how the $100 million fund is derived or where the funds came from?

Though an external $100 million fund if it doesn’t come only from Ripple would be a good boost to the blockchain gaming space. This space is a gold mine that is relatively untapped. I do have my reservations on why we are building our games on the blockchain.

IEO’s are a huge improvement in the ICO process by providing confidence from certified exchanges that a project is legitimate and worth researching. Despite the fact that a project has a platform to launch their IEO, it would seem that RAID did not put enough attention into generating awareness of the offering outside of the fact that Bittrex would be hosting it. In the case of Binance IEO’s, marketing/awareness is self-explanatory.

There are plenty of companies looking to tackle blockchain-based gaming. While it’s great to see there is monetary support to help drive the vision, I’m personally more focused on projects with strong UI/UX that just so happens to have an underlying blockchain system.

It’s my current belief that too many gaming projects are relying on the fact that their users are already familiar with cryptocurrencies rather than building products and infrastructure that can appeal to a mainstream audience. (i.e. the average person has no clue what MetaMask is and will likely not use it for the foreseeable future)

With this being said, gaming is a huge opportunity for blockchain and I do believe that this will be one of the first areas that adoption will be channelled through.
