Tawanda Kembo

As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project? What do you think about idea?

Tawanda Kembo is a fourth generation entrepreneur and one of Africa’s foremost cryptocurrency experts. Tawanda started the cryptocurrency exchange, Golix in 2014 and was also amongst the earliest adopters of cryptocurrency on the continent through his involvement with bitcoin in 2012. He has spoken at several major international cryptocurrency conferences, is an avid blogger and has contributed to and advised numerous cryptocurrency-related companies and projects over the years. Tawanda is committed to giving every person in Africa financial autonomy and he considers himself a man who wasted 12 years of his life because he only built his first software program in 1999 (when he was 13 years old).

Africa lacks the infrastructure for Africans to buy and sell cryptocurrency and this is the problem that we are out to solve

I am a customer support representative in the organisation and this just means I am usually the first responder to any customer queries and inquiries. I am the customers' point of communication in all they need to be helped with, and honestly this Token sale is all the help we all need. It is thee solution to our biggest problems.
The introduction of a utility token will demystify the existing understanding of cryptocurrencies and the use the GLX will help people (Africans especially) tackle Africa's liquidity problems.

As an accountant, fraud & corruption haunts Africa as a continent, and I believe that through the token sale Africa will be able to overcome such practices using Blockchain: "you can't cheat blockchain"

As a Software Engineer, my role involves developing software that is secure and scales.

This ICO will drive forward the vision of Financial Autonomy for the people of Africa. It also presents the opportunity for me to work with other skilled developers from all over Africa as we expand into many markets.

As the head of growth i am responsible for partnerships, finding other organizations that can help us grow as well as help them grow. For the ICO, there isn't much financial autonomy for the people in Africa, people have money but are not able to spend it where ever they like and for the few that can it is very expensive. We hope the GLX token will help in giving financial autonomy especially with the Golix exchange now operating in several countries.

My role is to get OTC customer traders across Africa to understand the benefits of the I.C.O by tutorials, discussions as well as providing necessary material and information. I am excited to be part of this initiative.

Making cross border payments in Africa is a nightmare because of poor financial infrastructure. We're providing a token (GLX Token) which will enable the easier, faster and cheaper transfer of value from country to country compared to the traditional methods; as well as setting up exchanges all around Africa on which the token along with other cryptocurrencies can be accessed and used.

The same goes with the main concept of the Golix Token Sale, that is to provide financial autonomy for all Africans. This can be achieved by ensuring that all people in Africa are aware of our project and get them to understand cryptocurrency and how they can harness cryptos for day to day use.
The GLX token therefore becomes the main medium, aimed at propelling Golix to the rest of Africa, by creating necessary infrastructure to help people access cryptocurrencies.
